A commemorative event entitled "The Khojaly Genocide: 28 years of incessant pain" was held at Korkut Ata University located in Osmaniye, Turkey.
The event started with the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Turkey, and the memory of the martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Khazar Ibrahim, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora Valeh Hajiyev and others briefed the participants on the Khojaly genocide.
Afterwards, Khojaly Avenue was opened in the center of Osmaniye. Ambassador Khazar Ibrahim and Governor Omer Faruk Coskun also held a bilateral meeting.
