In the framework of "Justice for Khojaly!" campaign initiated by Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Leyla Aliyeva, the train carrying the exhibition "Black train’s horn sounds - there is looting in Karabakh and genocide in Khojaly” on the Ankara-Kars-Ankara route reached its destination and headed back to the Turkish capital.

The Ankara-Kars passenger train departed from the capital on February 27th, with the addition of an additional carriage exhibiting paintings that depict the horrors of the Khojaly Genocide.

The exhibition train, which was in motion for six days, stopped at Kayseri, Erzurum, Erzincan and Sarıkamış railway stations. The works had also been exhibited at those stations, where local government officials and members of the public attended the welcoming ceremonies and openings of the exhibition.

The exhibition train arrived at Kars station on March 4th. The greeting ceremony was attended by employees of the Consulate General in Kars and representatives of the local community. The works exhibited at the station for a day were sent directly to back to Ankara by the same train.

It should be noted that this is the first demonstration in connection with the Khojaly Genocide, organized on the basis of a joint project of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Turkey, Gazi University in Ankara and the Turkish State Railways. The exhibition attracted a large number of viewers along the way and at stations where it was shown.
