On the occasion of 25th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Ukraine within “Justice for Khojaly” international awareness campaign hosted a commemorative event in Interregional Academy of Personnel Management in Kiev.
The event was attended by the first secretary of Azerbaijani Embassy in Ukraine, the chairman of the Congress of Kiev Azerbaijanis Oleg Krapivin, representatives of the academic staff of the academy and activists of Azerbaijani diaspora.
The academy’s Chairman noted the significance of showing the tragic history of the nation friendly to Ukraine and mentioned that 900 students from Azerbaijan study at the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management in Kiev.
Afterwards, the event proceeded with screening of “Dashnaks: from Fergana to Karabakh” documentary film.
