A pan-European Karabakh rally dedicated to the 28th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was held on February 22 in Paris Square near the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin, Germany, at the initiative of diaspora organizations operating in about 30 countries and organized by the Alliance of German Azerbaijanis.

Our compatriots living in Azerbaijan, Germany, the Netherlands, Hungary, Poland, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, Norway, Finland, France, Romania, Croatia, Great Britain, Greece, Moldova, Ukraine Georgia, Turkey, the United States, Canada, as well as members of the diaspora of nations with friendly relations to Azerbaijan.

Participants of the rally on the eve of the 28th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide shouted with slogans such as "Karabakh is Azerbaijan!", "We say no to terrorism!", "Azerbaijan demands justice!", "Do not be indifferent to Khojaly!", "Shame on the murderers of peace and innocence!" Tell the Armenian lies to stop!”, “Stop the occupation!”, “Karabakh is our right!” called on international organizations.

The protesters demanded an international legal and political assessment of the Khojaly genocide committed by Armenians 28 years ago, pressure on Armenia to return the occupied Azerbaijani lands, restoration of the violated rights of Azerbaijanis displaced from their homes, and Armenia's adherence to known international documents.
